He was predeceased by: his parents, Tedford Edward Smith and Ruby Helen Smith (Henry); and his sister Susan Smith. He is survived by: his wife Paulette Smith (Sorrie); his children, Christopher Smith, Jeffrey Smith (Susan) and Jennifer Smith; his grandchildren, Dakota Smith, Courtney Smith, Alicia Smith, Emma Smith, Laura Moser (Caleb), Anna Smith, Sarah Smith, Clara Smith and Jude Smith; and his great grandchildren, Katherina Allaire and Presley Smith-Brooks.

We would appreciate donations made in Michael's honour to Hospice House Fredericton in lieu of flowers.
