It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Areta Bernice Davidson of Geary, New Brunswick, born in Red Rock, New Brunswick, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jarvis and Katherine Jarvis (Pond); her husband Carl Federick Davidson; and her siblings, Bertrand Jarvis, Estella Harvey (William), Thelma Murdock (Donald) and Lois Wilson (Dara).
She is survived by: her sons, Greg (Wendy) and Richard (Heather); her grandchildren, Spencer Lockhart and Kailey Davidson; her brother Robert (Sheila Eastman); her sister-in-law Jeanette Jarvis; and her friend Leila Levison. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations in Areta's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Fredericton Hospice, or the donor's choice.
