He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Beatrice (Taylor); his siblings, Gertie Blackmore (Richard) and Jack (Mildred); his nephew Jamie King; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Robbins, Amy Riles, Annie Stone, Alex Riles and Max Seaward.
He is survived by: his wife Katie (Riles); his daughters, Eunice (Eric Keeping) of Burnt Islands, NL, Lisa (Mark Strickland) of Winnipeg, MB and Sandy (Kevin Chappelle) of French Lake, NB.; his siblings-in-law, Clarence Robbins, Gilbert Riles, Cecil Stone, Henry Riles (Yvonne), Millie Seward and Julie Slade (Ron); and his nephew Chris King (Andrew Robar) of Burnt Islands, NL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Memorial donations in George's memory may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
