She was predeceased by: her spouse Dharam Deo "Fuley" Gopeechan. She is survived by: her children, Sandra (Harry), Camille (Reuben), Alston (Nalini), Ronald (Rehanna), Fenton (Karen), Lyttleton (Sandra), Ashton (Kamini) and Nathalie (Vijai) of Texas, USA. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and a large extended family.

In lieu of flowers, Yarmati's wish was for all donations to be to Smythe Street Church (https://ssc.church).
