She was predeceased by: her parents, Mien Sloothaak and Willem Sloothaak; and her husband William Burkley Thompson. She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Parks-Donelan (Pat) of Fredericton, Marjorie Zimmerman (John) of Fredericton and Debbie Thompson; her grandchildren, Tony Parks (late Janet), Steven Parks, Melissa Zimmerman, Michael Zimmerman, Sophia Thompson (Avery) and Randy O'Neil; her great grandchildren, Gregory (Michelle), Andrew, Taylor and Violet; her niece Linda Soet; and her nephew Arjen Soet. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
