He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Rodgers and Elizabeth Colford; his brothers, Gerald and Raymond; and his daughter-in-law Trina Rodgers.

He is survived by: his children, Neil (late Trina Kirby), David, Kelly (Vince Sturgeon) and Lana; his grandchildren, Michelle, Matthew, Thomas, Connor, Turner, Jakob, Samantha, Hunter, Michael, Cole, Derek, Lauren and Jenna; and his wife Wilma Sturgeon. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and special friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the York Funeral Home (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
