He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel LaPointe and Emma LaPointe (Mollaly); his wife Blanche; and his siblings, Alli, Raymond, Edward, Louis and Christine.
He is survived by: his son Billy LaPointe; and his sisters, Clair, Annie, Opel (Charles), Nora and Rose Marie (Brian). He is also survived by several nieces' nephews and cousins.
