She was predeceased by: her father Neil Hillman; and her sister Lori Saunders. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her daughters, Ashley Fernandes (Wayne Fernandes), Emily Sparkes (Geoff Sparkes) and Kerrie Bird (Brendon Bridges); her grandchildren, Dylan Fernandes, Abigail Sparkes, Geoffrey "Pete" Sparkes and Wesley Bridges; her mother Barb Hillman; and her sisters, Linda Hillman, Cindy Cunningham, Patty Harris and Barb Hillman. She is also survived by grandmother to her 4 grandchildren.

Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
