It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendy Joan Bird (Fredericton, New Brunswick), who passed away on January 23, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wendy Joan Bird to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her father Neil Hillman; and her sister Lori Saunders. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her daughters, Ashley Fernandes (Wayne Fernandes), Emily Sparkes (Geoff Sparkes) and Kerrie Bird (Brendon Bridges); her grandchildren, Dylan Fernandes, Abigail Sparkes, Geoffrey "Pete" Sparkes and Wesley Bridges; her mother Barb Hillman; and her sisters, Linda Hillman, Cindy Cunningham, Patty Harris and Barb Hillman. She is also survived by grandmother to her 4 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Drive Baptist Church (150 Greenwood Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A3T6). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
