She is survived by: her husband Gordon Brien; her children, Dr. Susan Brien (Blaine Hoshizaki), Dr. Heather Orfi (Jan Orfi) and Jeffery Brien; her grandchildren, Thomas Hoshizaki, Johanna Hoshizaki, Isobel Orfi, Alev Orfi, Natassja Brien and Naomi Brien; and her siblings, Johanna Rugg, Walton Waller (Linda Waller) and Patricia Bell. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
