He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence Colpitts and Inez Colpitts; his wife Reta Myrtle Colpitts (Wasson); his children, Kelly [Colpitts] Downe (Sheldon), Shawn Colpitts (Maia) and Chris Colpitts (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Ryan (Kayla), Patrick (Jeannine), Olivia, Madison, Kate, Victoria, Cameron, Sterling and Tatum; his great grandchildren, Lennon and Ramsey; his sister Nancy Colpitts; and his sister-in-law Pauline Colpitts. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McAdam's Funeral Home (160 York St, Fredericton, NB E3B3N7). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel (160 York St, Fredericton, NB E3B3N7).
