It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Marlene Reid (Fredericton, New Brunswick), born in Stanley, New Brunswick, who passed away on September 3, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley "Stan" Reid; her parents, Charlie Hossack and Harriet Hossack (Dunphy); her son Geoffrey "Geoff" Reid; her siblings, Pauline O'Hara (Ron) and Billy Hossack (Kay); and her brother-in-law Jim Greenman.
She is survived by: her sons, Danny Reid (Cheryl) and Barry Reid (Heather); her grandchildren, Jamie, Lindsay (Mike), Lisa (Brad), Krista (Trevor), Stacey (Mike), Christopher (Shawna) and Michael; her great grandchildren, Meah, Cohen, Henry, Nora, Charlie, Martha, Alec and Tanner; and her sisters, Janet Burns (Marvin) and Barbara Greenman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
