He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertie Dorcas and Nadine Dorcas (Gullison); and his siblings, Eveleen Corbett, Mary Albright and Howard Dorcas.

He is survived by: his sons, Darren Dorcas (Charlene) and Marty Dorcas (Cindy Jesso); his grandchildren, Drew, Damien Dorcas and Catherine Kennedy; and his sister Faye Munn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
