She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Rolfe and Marie Rolfe (Matchett); and her siblings, Sheila Rolfe, Cheryl Rolfe, Janice Dickson (late Greg Dickson), Barbara McAuley and Blake Rolfe.

She is survived by: her siblings, Linda Bottaro of St John's Newfoundland, Grace LeFloch (Donald) of Miramichi, Darlene Stymiest (Drew) of Tabusintac, Bruce Rolfe (Linda) of Yarmouth and Kevin Rolfe (late Heather) of Stanley; and her brother-in-law Allan McAuley of Nelson-Miramichi.

In Valerie's memory, donations may be made to N.B. Arthritis Society or your local SPCA in memory of Val's four-legged friends, Sammy and Jazzy.
