He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Stewart and Jacqueline Stewart (Estey); and his brothers, Leon (Glenna), David (Diana) and Stewart.

He is survived by: his sister Dianne Collett (Harold) of Fredericton; his niece Melissa Arbeau; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ellianna, Madison, Weston and Benson.
