It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Marion Mombourquette (Fredericton, New Brunswick), who passed away on February 15, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph; her son Michael Mombourquette; her granddaughter Catherine Mombourquette; her parents, Peter Clannon and Emeline Clannon; and her siblings, Joseph Clannon (Kay), Elizabeth Briand (Alfred), Ann Clannon, Agnes Birrette (Peter), Mary Catharine Brian (Jim), Danny Mombourquette (Anna), Raymond Mombourquette (Irene) and Walter Mombourquette (Nora).
She is survived by: her children, Theresa, Colin Mombourquette (Arlene), Peter Mombourquette, Kevin Mombourquette, David Mombourquette and Maureen Cook (Dale); her daughters-in-law, Jean Mombourquette, Deborah Fraser and Kim Nguyen; her grandchildren, Alex, Emily, Gabrielle, Hailey, Mandy, Neil, Nicole, Patrick, Spencer, Stephen and William; her great grandchildren, Alia, Betty, Caileen, Frankie, Freddy, Jesse, Joseph, Karson, Lex and Rachael; her brother-in-law Freddy Sampson (Margaret); her godchildren, Leo Briand and Theresa Clements; her nieces, Theresa Clements (Terry), Natalie Milligan (Fenton), Elaine Milligan (Marvin) and Sherry Woodworth (Doug); her nephew Tony Mombourquette (Janet); and her cousins, Ardoise, Cape Breton, Tommy, Kay Mombourquette, Manny, Marie Mombourquette (Clannon), Rita May Sampson (Harry) and Sally Anne Mombourquette. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was a tireless volunteer for many other charities, including the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Canadian Red Cross.
