With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Hawkins (Fredericton, New Brunswick), born in Burtts Corner, New Brunswick, who passed away on November 7, 2019 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her husband Sherman Hawkins; her parents, Harry Elliott and Esther Elliott (Staples); her son Brian Hawkins; her grandson Steven Wood; her brothers, Wilfred, Kermit and Marshall Elliott; and her daughter-in-law Grace Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Wood of Fredericton, NB, Charlie Hawkins (Joan) of Keswick Ridge, NB, Darryl Hawkins (Lori) of Currieburg, NB, Susan Montgomery (Steve) of Fredericton, NB and Nancy Graham (Ron) of Fredericton, NB; her grandchildren, Michelle, Pamela (Clarence), Heather, Heidi (Antonio), Erica (Randy), Jamie (Katie), Emily (Jared), Rhonda (Jason), David (Jasmina), Andrew (Deanna), Brad (Christine), Chad (Sarah), Daniel (Alana), Amy (Joel), Chuck (Nancy) and Shelley (Chris); her sister Excy Burgess of Fredericton, NB; and her sister-in-law Maria Elliott of Florida. She is also survived by 34 great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren.
