She was predeceased by: her parents, Blanche Underhill (Hennessy) and Benedict Underhill; and her brother Jimmy. She is survived by: her daughter Sarah Bonnar (Chris); her siblings, Alan (Heather), Benny (Mal), Marg (Duane), Mary (Kenny) and Ann; and her sister-in-law Lynn Underhill. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested donations in Susan's memory to go to the Oromocto SPCA as her love for animals was great!
