He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hoyt and Margaret Hoyt (Munro); and his sister Shirley Fowler. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his children, Jeff Hoyt (Danielle Hogan), Jon Hoyt-Hallett and Laura Forbes (Glen Forbes); his grandchildren, Mikaya Hoyt-Hogan, Tate Hoyt-Hogan, Addison Forbes and Oliva Forbes; and his brother David Hoyt (Bea Hoyt). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is recommending donations to Hospice House Fredericton (Palliative Care Resource Network Inc.) or the Canadian Cancer Society.
