We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2025, Sidney Leonard Whitman (Fredericton, New Brunswick) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Sidney Leonard's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Sidney Leonard's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as his find rest in the embrace of eternity.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorimer Whitman and Nellie Whitman (Drysdale); his wife Roxie (Watson); and his daughter Betty. He is survived by: his children, Phyllis Scott (Eugene) of Fredericton, Robert (Judy) of Pictou County, NS, Brenda Whitman (Ken Hetherington) of Hanwell, Vicki Whitman (Al Jones) of Scotch Lake, NB and James Whitman (Erin) of Maugerville, NB. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bishop's Funeral Home & Crematorium (540 Woodstock Rd, Fredericton, NB E3B2J3). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada and the Hope for Wildlife would be appreciated by the family.
