Shirley Marie Astle Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2022, at the age of 85, Shirley Marie Astle (Fredericton, New Brunswick), born in Minto, New Brunswick passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George Astle; her parents, Harry McNeill and Cecilia McNeill (McDonald); her siblings, Emma West (Donnie), Diane LeBlanc (Earl), Eugene McNeill (Daisy) and Vernon McNeill; and her half-siblings, Rita Henry (Donald), Leola Curtis (Henry) and Earl McNeill.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Bartels (Louis), Teddy Astle (Tammy), Paula Dunphy (Terry) and John Astle; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Jason, Todd, Andy, Mitch, Michelle and Chelsea Hickey; her siblings, June Cale, Lorraine Krall, Jocelyn McNeill, Clarence McNeill (Brenda), Arlie McNeill (Judy), Danny McNeill, Nelson McNeill (Dianne) and David McNeill (Joanne); and her brother-in-law Allan McCoy. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Interment will take place in Dayton Cemetery, Fredericton For those who wish, remembrances may be made to New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of the donor's choice.
