She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hughes and Edith Hughes (Jones); and her siblings, Robert Hughes, Marguerite Gauthreau, Bernice McIntyre, Noreen Mullenger, Doris Estey and Reta Derrah.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Koshowski (Chris Bailey) of Glover, VT, Shari Koshowski of Fredericton, NB and Rodney Koshowski (Marci) of Edmonton, AB; her grandchildren, Jessie and Tasia (Colin Cooper); her brother Donald Hughes (Isabel) of Fredericton; and her sister-in-law Rose Marie Hughes. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Those attending should keep in mind that due to current covid restrictions and protocols, the capacity of the first 50 people cannot be exceeded. Please bring and wear a mask at all times in the building.
Memorial donations in Shirley's memory may be made to the Greenwood Drive Baptist Church benevolent fund or a charity of the donor's choice.
