He was predeceased by: his spouse Yunxia Zhou; his sibling Lihe (Cuizhen Han); and his parents, Ziliang Liu and Jiqing Shen. He is survived by: his children, Qingwei (Zhuhui Zhang) of Wuhan and Qingwen (Fang Cheng) of Fredericton, NB.; his grandchildren, Tianyu, Anne and Emily; and his siblings, Lihua (Shuncai Zhang), Baihua (Xuxian Hu), Shaohua (Pengxing Luo) and Huijuan (late Xueyuan Yang). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
