He was predeceased by: his parents, Dell Merrill and Alice Merrill (Brooks); and his sister Valerie May Merrill. He is survived by: his siblings, Sharon Clark (Alden) of Athabasca, AB, Tanya McCrea (David) of Plumweseep, NB and Richard Merrill (Sandy) of Maple, ON. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, great and great-great nephews and nieces.
