It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sadie M Fletcher (Fredericton, New Brunswick), born in Pokiok, New Brunswick, who passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Fawcett and Ethel Fawcett (Major); her daughter Cindy Eagles (John); her brother Walter Fawcett; her siblings-in-law, Frank and Estella Fletcher; and her sons-in-law, Robert McCready and Doug Switzer.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Hicks (Clyde) of Moncton, NB, Linda McCready (late Robert) of Saint John, NB and Heather Fletcher Switzer (late Doug S.) of Fredericton, NB; her grandchildren, Stephen Hicks (Denise), David Hicks (Bruce Ryan), Shane McCready, Michael Hicks (Darlene) and Jenny Lunney (Mark); her great grandchildren, Wren, Megan, Kyana, Darcy Jane Hicks, Maxine Hicks, William, Lane McCready and Ireland Lunney; her great great grandchild Sophie Grace McFarlane; and her husband Gordon W. Fletcher.
