She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Allen (Elliot) and Paul Smith; her daughter Laurie Coy (Nicholson); and her brothers, Tom and Bill.

She is survived by: her husband Errol Nicholson; her children, Shelley Grasse (Carter) and Steven Nicholson; her grandchildren, Chelsea, Barrett and Summer; and her siblings, Bob, Katherine and Barb. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
