He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Estey (Ryan); and his grandparents, Lois, Ronald Ryan, Abrham and Violet Estey.

He is survived by: his father Bernard Estey; his wife Tracey Jewett; his children, Alyssa Estey and Damian Estey; his granddaughter Nyah Estey; his sisters, Shelly Eatmon (Chris) and Krista Estey; and his stepchildren, Ryan Waite, Bradford Jewett and Kendra Waite.
