He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Kerton and Jean Kerton (Humble); and his siblings, John and Gloria Shipp. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Destiny Davidson, Rebecca Davidson, Rosemary Thompson (Calvin) and Jason Davidson (Laurie); his siblings, Marie Kerton, Joan Saunders, Judy Banks (Irvine) and Richard; his grandchildren, Kyle Thompson Courtney (Paige), Mady Thompson, Ashley Davidson, Alex Davidson, Faith Harvey, Issac Davidson, Arianna Davidson, Kallum Davidson and Trystan Davidson; and his daughter Elizabeth Carr (Adam).

In lieu of flowers remembrances can be made to Bishop's Funeral Home to assist with the funeral expenses, or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
