He is survived by: his wife Claudia; his daughter-in-law Claudia Whalen (Theriault); his grandchildren, Sibylle (Roger Filion), Sylvia (Cameron Smith), Christian (May Khoury), Jocelyne (Paul Mills), Madeleine (Tyler McCready), Marielle, Myriam (Devin Kearney), Lara, Katherine, Sophie, Matthias, Owen, Samuel, Hayden, Nicolas, Gillianne, Alexandra and Isabelle; his great grandchildren, Evelyn and William; his caregivers, Mary Lou, Nita, Kim, Maureen, Cathy and Denis; his family, Physician, Jeffrey Barton and Everett Chalmers Hospital; and also Ann Flanagan-Whalen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
