It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Wayne Shanks (Fredericton, New Brunswick), who passed away on June 3, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Flora Shanks and JD Hazen Shanks; and his siblings, Shirley Shanks, Carolyn Leslie (George), Alva Brock (Bill), Charles, Junior and Keith Shanks (Elaine).

He is survived by: his wife Deborah Shanks (Colford); his children, Robert Shanks, Donna Arseneau (Roger), Jennifer Shanks (Joseph) and Theresa Theriault (Andre); his grandchildren, Jacob Hogan (Emma), Jaiden Hogan (Cyprian), Simon, Charlie, Victor Theriault, George Hazen Bates, Kory, Kevin (Erin), Samantha Arseneau (Troy), Dawn Hawk (Brandon) and Jessica Shanks; his great grandchildren, DJ Burkett, Aliyah Stephens, Payton Arseneau, Bentley, Adam Hawk and Jackson Hogan; and his brother Brien Shanks (Eunice).
