It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Edward Meade (Fredericton, New Brunswick), born in Campbellton, New Brunswick, who passed away on November 11, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Meade and Elsa Meade; his brother Bill Meade; and his significant other Joan M. (Fontaine). He is survived by: his sons, Bill Meade (Tamara Crozier) of Fredericton and Mike Meade (Tammy Nichol) of Nackawic; and his grandson Benjamin.

“Mr Meade was far more than just a teacher-he was kind, generous and supportive. I was a troubled kid-left home in the 12 grade-I was hitchhiking to school from Fredericton-he picked me up in Barkers Point daily and drove me to school-the time I spent in the drama club saved me literally. He allowed me to co-Write a play we performed in a festival and ensured I attended school-he cared. I am forever grateful for being his student. Patti (Davidson) Thomas OHS 83”
