It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Marie O'Brien in Fredericton, New Brunswick, born in Dalhousie, New Brunswick, who passed away on December 19, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald (Jerry); her parents, Wilfred and Rose; and her brothers, Romeo and Norman.

She is survived by: her children, Maureen Daigle (Punk), Michael O'Brien (Mona) and Patti Wilson (Donnie); her grandchildren, Wesley (Kelly), Mitchel, John (Annie), Kristina, Julie (Jordan), Jamie and Katie (Aaron); her great grandchildren, Kyla, Brody, Alyssa, Carson, Brennan, Maëlle, Kieran, Castiel and Savy; and her siblings, Helene, Jeanette, Raymond and Reginald.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in place of a funeral or service due to the ongoing social restrictions regarding Covid-19.
