He was predeceased by: his parents, Lily Giffin (Chapman) and Reginald Giffin; his wife Shirley (Murphy); and his close friend Betty Palmer. He is survived by: his daughters, Moira Giffin of Harvey Station and Meredith Giffin (Paul) of Montreal; his siblings, Ron (Pat), Claude, Brian (Rita) and Pauline; and his nephews, Greg, Chris and Simon.
