She was predeceased by: her grandfather Gerald Wood; and her uncle Jerry Wood. She is survived by: her close friend Scott Somerville; her daughter Mackayla Wood; her sisters, Stephanie Wood (Heather Gregory) and Jennifer Wood Tym (Case); her parents, Melanie Menzies Wood and Ron Wood; her niece Lillian Tym; her nephews, Pieter, Benjamin Tym and Elliott Wood; her aunts, Lynn McCay, Jane Gibbs (Dave) and Aleta Wood; her uncle Stephen Wood; her cousins, Kolin Wood, Ryan (Kalah), Graham McCay, Jamie (Laura) and Matthew Spurway (Amy); her close friend Johanna Olsen Lynch; her friends, Jennifer Tucker and Stephanie Woodworth; and also, Craig (Rebecca) and Alice Boardman.

Although visitation is public, the Celebration of Life will be by reservation only due to COVID protocols and restrictions.
