He was predeceased by: his father Edward Randolph Merrithew Randy; his brother Terry Merrithew (Linda); and his stepfathers, Keith Whittie and Max Pond. He is survived by: his mother Carol Myrtle Pond (Jewett); his daughter Danielle Rae Merrithew (Brendon Frendin); his siblings, Ann Hildebrand (Robert), Dan Merrithew (Marlene), Mitch Merrithew (Sedalla) and Brenda Merrithew-Gorham (Jason); his sister-in-law Linda Merrithew; his stepsisters, Lisa, Debbie, Heather and Barb; and his close friend Laura MacKinnon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
