Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Pierre Turmel of Fredericton, New Brunswick, born in Lévis, Québec, who passed away at the age of 83, on January 11, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Hermenegilde and Marguerite Turmel (Fleury); and his siblings, Guy, Claude, Albert and Therese MacKay.

He is survived by: his wife Ethel Turmel (MacLellan); his children, Paul Turmel (Tammy Barry) of Oak Bay, Mark Turmel of Montreal and Suzanne Turmel-MacLeod (Scott) of Fredericton; his granddaughter Maggie; and his siblings, Dr. Jean Turmel (Denise), Eugene Turmel, Jacques Turmel (Danielle) and Celine Vigneault (Richard) of Levis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Chalmers Hospital Foundation, Kids Sports Funds at Sport New Brunswick, Fredericton Food Bank or the charity of the donor's choice.
