She was predeceased by: her parents, Allan Ashfield and Ethel Ashfield (Tait); her husband George; her son Christopher; and her siblings, Willis, Garnet, James, Jack, Florence Brewer, Maude Tupper and Grace Hughson.
She is survived by: her children, Gerry (Kathy) of Tremont, NS, Robert (Annette) of Two-Mountains, QC, Jennifer (Marcel) of Cap-Pelé and Richard (Louise) of Bromont, QC; and her grandchildren, Todd Cormier, Krystal Cormier, Marc Cormier, Stephanie Dymond, Amy Dymond, Alexandre Cormier and Charles Cormier. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations in Phyllis's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to a charity of your choice.
