He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Embrett and Helen Embrett (Anderson); his siblings, Victor and Leslie Hughes (Pat); his parents-in-law, Joyce Briggs and Douglas Briggs; and his brothers-in-law, Harold London and Ron Derry.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Briggs; his sisters-in-law, Jeanette London, Dawn Briggs and Sherry Briggs-Derry; his sisters, Andrea MacPhee (Edwin) and Glenna Embrett; his nieces and nephews, David, Billy, Gregory, Kyle, Kevin, Jamie, Hailey, Bret, Brandon, Emily, Charlotte, Imogen, Olivia, Harper and Solveigh; his aunt Gail Banfield (Ken, family: Shawna, Zander, Phoenix, River); his close friend Dan Williams (Sheila); his pets, Hudson, Socks, Lucy and Crystal; and also, Dawn, Sherry and King.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Hospice House Fredericton, or a charity of the donor's choosing would be appreciated by the, family.
