She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bradstreet Tompkins and Josephine Tompkins (Murray); her former husband Peter Myer Spicer; her children, Elizabeth "Betsy" Jo Spicer, Margaret Jill Spicer, John Arthur Hodgson and Catherine Anne Hodgson; her grandchildren, Bailey and Brooklyn Howland-Hodgson; her great grandchild Cayden Brewer; and her siblings, Patty Flemming, Millie Karsoo, Helen Waddell, Charles Tompkins and Mary Fontenot.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Margaret's Anglican Church, The Fredericton Music Teachers' Association or a charity of choice.
