With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul Matheson Briggs (Fredericton, New Brunswick), who passed away on January 1, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Briggs and Margaret Briggs (Estabrooks); his daughters, Margaret and Elizabeth; and his stepmother Bessie Briggs (Bongard).

He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Mark, Paula Briggs and Meghan Huestis; his grandchildren, Ashley Briggs, Keely Briggs, Santana Briggs, Tahara Briggs and Mathewson Huestis; and his caregiver Ellen Hurley Legere.

In lieu of flowers, donations to York Care Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be appreciated by the family. Requested Charity York Care Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
