He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Rolfe (John), Lawrence Anderson (Diana) and Terry Anderson (Kate); his grandchildren, Aiden Rolfe, Ariana Anderson, Kingston Anderson and Mollie Anderson; his partner's children, Wes Dickinson, Kim Dickinson and Zoe Anderson; his grandchildren, Jensen, Gabe, Ellie, Cheyenne, Anthony, Kaila, Pacey and Jacob; his brother Murray McConnell; the mother of his children Sharon Bird; his grandmother Joyce Bird; and his nephews, Jamie Bird, Mark Bird and Steven Daigle.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the IWK Hospital.
