He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Boyle and Mary Boyle (Moore); his wife Ronna (Cook); his children, Ronald, Patricia and Craig; and his siblings, Earle "Tilley", Darrell, Kenneth and Marion.

He is survived by: his daughters, Andrea and Meredith (Serge); and his grandchildren, Gayle (Oliver) and Erica (Randy).
