She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril Palmer and Winnifred Jones (West); and her sister Brenda. She is survived by: her husband Graham; her children, Kevin Powell and Andrea Downing (Todd); her grandchildren, Jeffrey (Katie), Ryan (Sonja), Kelsey (Luke) and Sean; her great grandchildren, Jaxon and Brooks; and her sisters, Wendy Knight (Christopher), Hazel and France. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
