He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cockerill and Margorie Cockerill; and his former wife Margorie Elizabeth Maude. He is survived by: his wife Gladys; his children, Barbara, William Stanley, Wayne and Bruce (Lois); his stepchildren, Ronald (Sandra), Brent (Rhea), Karen Ann (Kevin) and Kelly; and his stepbrother Vernon Rae. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Donations in memory of Morris may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
