He was predeceased by: his parents, Dolores Winnifred Adams McDermaid (Deredin) and Edwin Adams; his stepfather William McDermaid; his brother Harold Adams; and his aunts and uncles, Mary Martin (Deredin), Catherine Trevors (Deredin), Raymond Deredin and Wilbur Deredin.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra (Lance) of Fredericton; his sons, Shawn Lance (Jennifer) of Totteham, Matthew Adams (Kathryn) of Truro and Tyler Adams of Fredericton; his grandchildren, Lucas, Meadow, Jaylynn, Vanessa and Vera; his siblings, Debi (Adams), Stark (Ed) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Wayne Adams (Midge) of Ajax and Richard Lee Adams (Leslie) of Napanee, Ontario; and his uncle Louis Galliah (Paula) of Miramichi. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
As expressions of sympathy, in memory of Michael and in honour of the outstanding care he received at Hospice House Fredericton, donations may be made to Hospice House Fredericton or a charity of the donor's choice.
