It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melinda Marie Hachey (Fredericton, New Brunswick), who passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Hachey; her parents, Mary Ann Brideau (Richardson) and Martin Brideau; and her siblings, Edna Rousselle (George) and Vital Brideau.
She is survived by: her children, Marilda McGivney (Wayne) of Fredericton, Edith Wilson (Billy) of Fredericton, Yvan Hachey (Cyndi) of Fredericton, Art Hachey (Brenda) of Edmonton and Louise Murray (Peter) of Fredericton; her grandchildren, Shawn (Jayda), Stacey (Lonnie), Nikki, Katie (Jamie), Dylan (Carrie), Travis (Lisa), Nicolas (Jenny), Alisha, Jenna (Colton), Andrew (Brandy) and Suzanne; and her siblings, Helen Breau (late James), Alvina Dugas (late Mel), Dosithe Brideau (Judy), Edith Feggos (late Mike) and Delia Savoie (late Medley). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; several special nieces and nephew.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2).
