She was predeceased by: her parents, David Bird and Annie Bird; her children, Anne Wheeler and Walter "Buddy" Wheeler; and her granddaughter Paige Bishop.

She is survived by: the father of her children Milton Wheeler; her husband Edward Ludford; her brothers, John, Glenn, Aubrey and Laurel "Bud"; and her daughters, Cathy Martin (Jim) and Laurie Price (Frank). She is also survived by grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
