It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mavis Alice Christine Wood (Fredericton, New Brunswick), who passed away on January 9, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Georgie Stewart (Somerville) and Clarence Stewart; her husband Gerald Wood; her son Jerry Wood; and her granddaughter Rebecca Wood.
She is survived by: her sister Jeanne Wall; her sons, Ron (Melanie) and Stephen (Aleta); her grandchildren, Kolin Wood (Olivia), Jennifer Wood Tym (Case) and Stephanie Wood (Heather); her great grandchildren, Pieter, Benjamin, Lillian Tym, Mackayla Wood and Elliott Wood; her niece Pat Kilfillen (Rick); her close friend Dr. Gordon McDonald; and also Scott Somerville.
