She was predeceased by: her parents, John Doherty and Cora Doherty (Coulsey); her husband Donald; her daughter Tanya; her son-in-law Kendrick Lacey; and her siblings, Bill (Beulah), John (Madeline), Marguerite Troy (Everett), Charlie (Ellen), Hazen (Clara), Althea Steeves (Clark), Estelle Harris and Theresa Cusack (Ernie).

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Lacey, David (Alexandra), Gordie (Kim Black) and Jennifer Young (Paul); her grandchildren, Vanessa Stapleford, Hannah Nagle, Elizabeth Barrett, Donnie Young and Rachel Seeley; her stepgrandson Dustin Black; her great grandchild Tate Nagle; and also Roger Savoy.
