It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Jane Peterson (Fredericton, New Brunswick), born in Rogersville, New Brunswick, who passed away on July 20, 2021, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Calixte Perry and Adele Perry; her husband Walter Peterson (Brub); her son-in-law Terrance Burpee; and her siblings, Ben, William, Gerald, Lucy, Minnie and Angie.

She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Burpee (late Terrance) and Dianne Doucette (Dale); her sisters, Rita Landry and Alice Landry; her grandchildren, Kim Laforest (John), Krista Buell (Steve), Tammy Deschenes (Luc), John Hoyt (Janet) and Pam Hoyt; her great grandchildren, Connor Buell (Emily), Carlie Buell (David), Mathieux Deschenes, Monet Hoyt, Thomas Hoyt, Diandra Smith and George Smith; her great great grandchildren, Rachael Elizabeth Buell, Peyton Smith and Karrington Smith Jr.; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Ashlee Saunders, Kyle Saunders, Quinton, Lucas Doucette, Jessica Canard, David Johnson and Katelyn Johnson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
