She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Searle and Peggy Searle; and her brothers, Leigh and Peter. She is survived by: her husband John Preston; her children, Kirk (Ruth), Todd (Rhonda), Jennifer (Brendan), Stephanie (Pierre), Tara (John) and Jonathon (Shauna); her grandchildren, Russell, Ciaran, Caitlin, Roisin, Julie-Anne, Melanie, Carolyn, Patrick, Eryn, Matthew, Jamie, Brooke and Chase; and her brothers, Robert and Bill.

Donations in memory of Anne may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation.
